    Action by the defense to set aside cellphone records subpoenaed by County Attorney Kenneth Brown was delayed Thursday morning after complications arose in the case of Michael Booth, former girls basketball coach at Southeast High School who allegedly had sex with a former player.

    Following a short business meeting Tuesday evening, the Torrington City Council adjourned to an executive session regarding litigation and personnel during which it agreed to enter into a $9,000 contract with KRW, which will conduct a nationwide search for a new Torrington police chief.
